Position: Perl Developer
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Duration: 3 months possible extension for 6 months
Job Description - 2 positions
- Experience working with Perl scripts in implementing UI, Database and Back End processes
- Good to have functional knowledge of OSS (Order management, Provisioning, Activation, Inventory management, Availability monitoring, Performance monitoring and reporting)
- Given a problem statement, ability to debug and trace flow of application across various files/modules with minimal or no documentation
- Has Worked with complex applications having multiple modules, packages spread across a nested file structure
- Hands on experience working on Unix
- Experience working with code repositories
- Ability to work independently in a faced paced environment with minimal guidance/support
- Excellent working knowledge of the following concepts
- Perl OOPs concepts, Moose, packages and modules
- Various Perl data structures
- Mechanisms in Perl for accessing Oracle database and CRUD operations
- Multiprocessing implementation
- XML and .CSV file handling and processing using Perl
- Perl applications involving queue management
- Dynamic function calls and dynamic loading of modules in Perl
- Perl CPAN (Redis, Twig handlers) modules and Moose, perldoc
- Cgi Perl scripts for Front End (UI) applications
- Hypnotoad, Starman, Apache, PSGI
