Main tasks:
- Provide a new Continuous Integration and Delivery Service on its SAP Cloud Platform. The service is currently in beta state and first pilot customers are in ramp-up
- Goal of the POC is to demonstrate that GitLab can be used as a pipeline engine to serve our SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery Service scenario
- In addition to the service scenario described above we consider offering “GitLab as a service” for our customers, as well as shared service for SAP development teams for DevOps scenarios on SAP Cloud Platform (mainly CI/CD pipelines for microservice applications), in this context the team is evaluating the suitability of GitLab use
- This includes important aspects like enterprise readiness, security and developer usability
Main qualifications
- Solid Java programming skills
- Docker- and Container-Technology including Kubernetes
- General Continuous Delivery and DevOps know how, in particular GitLab
