Description
My client is a leading bank currently looking for a calibration & model monitoring analyst to join a growing finance department in their Edinburgh office, to help with presenting a professional image of IFRS9 project to all stakeholders.
You will be assisting in the scoping, design, development, validation and implementation aspects of developments, using innovative approaches and exploring the use of new technical/statistical methods.
Role:
- Liaise indirectly with stakeholders to help build appropriate plans for model monitoring and calibration
- Assist in the delivery against agreed plans and timescales, assisting the wider team with analysis and model development when required
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the development and use of risk models in commercial banking or finance
- A good degree in a numerical or quantitative subject with knowledge of advanced statistical and analytical techniques.
- Experienced and competent in the use of computer-based software and/or statistical packages (eg, SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab, C, C++, JAVA, Eviews)
