Our Fortune 500 cllient located in Mayfield Village, OH is looking for a Front End Developer with strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
Our client is upgrading Angular 1.4 to 6, so the daily work would involve refactoring SCSS styles to support a new system architecture while maintaining the visual integrity of the existing platform, using it as reference. The successful candidate will also advise full-stack developers on how to solve CSS-related problems and improve the codebase with an eye toward performance and maintainability. This is a 12 month renewable contract.

Required:
Hands on experience for at least a minimum of 5 years of Front End development using CSS for web site design
Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript. Understanding of clean coding structures and responsive design
Experience with Angular or other JavaScript based frameworks such as react, ember, or meteor
Ability to solve layout and display problems and make pixel-perfect matches to existing codebases
Understanding of Front End development methods and principles, and the ability to use these to improve the platform
Proficiency in working with Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
A problem solver while working as part of a team of strong developers
Ability to prepare and deliver CSS related training presentations to the project team and other teams within the organization
Plusses:
Knowledge and experience with Angular 4 or higher is preferred
Advanced proficiency with CSS and CSS standards. Familiarity with SCSS or other CSS preprocessors a plus
Bachelors degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field of study
