Description

Oracle Development DBA

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Oracle Development DBA to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious offices in Brussels.

As a Oracle Development DBA you will
Analyze and decompose complex requirements
Present solutions, ideas and recommendations that serves the requirements
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
Create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
Design and development
Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical
reports.

Technical skills

A very thorough Oracle database stack experience:
database development: SQL, PL/SQL,
advanced performance tuning and application DBA skills,
Java, APEX development,
engineered systems: Oracle Exadata, ODA, BDA, ZFS appliance,
data mining and analytics: ORE ("R"), Oracle Advanced Analytics
Strong UNIX (Solaris and Linux) skills, Shell and Perl Scripting (python is a pro); system monitoring and administration
A good understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence design and architecture concepts

Soft skills

Strong communication; fluent in English
A team player, willing to work in a multicultural environment
Coaching skills, small team lead experience is a pro.
