Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Software Developer that will work on the applications that manage the pension rights (payments) for the HR department (financial systems).
Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:
The client wishes to obtain expertise from a consultant for the PABS solution.
PABS is the application supporting the management of the post activity domain under the responsibility of the Pay Master Office (PMO). More specifically, the functionality offered covers the inward transfer of pension rights, the outward transfer of pension rights, severance grants and the calculation of old age and survivor pensions.
The solution assignment may change over time, according to the portfolio/project/service needs.
Non-exhaustive list of the tasks to be carried out:
Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology ( e.g. database management systems, Java Enterprise technology, enterprise & web content management, XML, portals, business process management and rule execution engines, interoperability, business activity monitoring and business intelligence technologies, Web 2.0, .Net technology, application life cycle management, test driven development , search technologies, Identity & Access Management, information security, federation protocols (SAML v2, WS-*, STORK … ) Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with information system infrastructure services or projects. Provision of security studies, security assessments and other specific security matters related to ICT infrastructures. Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise. Elaboration of vision documents focused upon infrastructure components. Risk analysis. Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures. Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with information systems infrastructure.
Knowledge and skills-
Good knowledge of the design and development of web applications;
Good knowledge of web application development frameworks;
Knowledge of scripting languages;
Knowledge of Rich Internet Application technologies;
Knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML5, XML)
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE-
Experience with financial rights / pension rights Information Systems.
At least 6 years of expertise in front-end development (javascript, jQuery, ANGULAR, FLEX, CSS, HTML5)
At least 3 years UI design (UX)
At least 3 years of SPRING MVC or other REST capable frameworks
At least 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise development
Good knowledge of Test driven Development (TDD)
Good knowledge of relational database management technology: SQL, PLSQL
Good knowledge of application Servers: BEA Weblogic 12 and higher
Good knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodology
Knowledge of information systems infrastructure matters
Knowledge of information systems security (XSRF, JWT etc.)
Knowledge of ICT consulting and the realisation of ICT studies (aptitude to write clear and structured technical documents)
