Oracle DBA - Austin
Excellent opportunity with an industry leader! Our client is seeking an Oracle DBA that is eager to be immersed in the latest technologies and provide a corporate impact!
You will manage and maintain production databases and replication servers. You can expect to perform daily administration tasks such as troubleshooting, managing database distribution, security, access requirements, as well as performance testing, monitoring performance/performance tuning, reporting, database back-up and restores. Immediately, you will be focused on migrations and upgrades and we seek someone who is seasoned in this area.
This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to associate in the Austin area. You will be working in a modernized, open-space environment for database optimization. REQUIRED SKILLS:

5+ years experience as a Oracle DBA, preferably in an enterprise environment.

Experience working with RAC (Real Application Clusters)

Experience working with ADG (Active Data Guard)

Light experience with performance tuning, optimization, installations, reporting, backups, and restores, etc.

Strong Communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:

Working knowledge of OEM

Experience with Golden Gate
