Job description: As a key player, Senior Quality Engineer has an overall responsibility of creating well tested and verified high quality products for our client's customers.
A Senior Quality Engineer will work on our client's Cyber Security R&D Business Unit that develops and delivers products used by our client's B2B partners and end customers. The department consists of software developers, Test Automation (TA) specialists and software architects. You will be part of a multi-site & multi-cultural team and work closely with Product Management setting high-level roadmap which then our R&D champions turn into product features and functionalities. The team work very closely also with a department that is analysing cyber threats on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Analyze test coverage, write and maintain test cases in co-operation with our developers, including performance and stress testing
- Automate manual testing and manual test cases
- Analyze current TA infrastructure and identify to which direction it should be further developed
- Take ownership and assess current test and development processes, and lead their further improvements to reach product quality targets
Required skills for this role:
- Excellent understanding and strong hands-on experience with quality engineering practices, processes and tools
- Strong hands-on experience with planning and implementing tests and test scenarios
- Strong knowledge and experience of continuous integration and testing infrastructure, in particular Jenkins.
- Understanding of iOS and Android fundamentals
- Experienced with developing and maintaining client (Android/iOS) tests automation scripts (Python/Swift)
- Experience with UI automation testing tools
- Self-driven, yet a strong team player, and sense of urgency
- Fluent communication skills in English
