Senior Java Developer - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH.
Skills and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of programming languages: Java.
- Good knowledge of software: MQ, IIB, Web Service.
- Expert knowledge in Open Dj and Open AM (Forgerock).
- Working knowledge of methodology: Agile, Object Oriented.
- Good knowledge of tools: JIRA, GIT, Jenkins.
- IBM environment expert.
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodology.
Description of work:
- Concept, Develop or adapt the applications for a domain in respect with Clarus methodology as described by the functional and business analysis and in regards to user requirements.
- Translate the functional and business analysis in Java programming language and architecture.
- Study and discuss the functional analysis with the designated internal contact.
- Write the program in the agreed language and in regards to the quality standards.
- Conduct the Test driven development.
- Test the program in the integrated environment following the Agile method.
- Document the software.
- Report potential issues to the functional analysts proposing the optimal solution for the achievement of the best result.
- Evaluate the impact of potential changes on the software modules and report any potential problems.
