- Design, build and configure Sterling applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Job Description:
- To be a key member of a Sterling OMS development and support team, providing ongoing technical support, bug fixing and the development of new features. Working for a key Fashion Retail space who are based in the UK.
Role and expectations:
- A subject-matter-expert (SME) on Sterling SC Apps product functionality, architecture, configuration, extensibility and customization.
- A technical expert to provide expert level help to level 2 team of Customer Support to troubleshooting customers' business critical issues.
- Ability to analyse business critical (ie Severity 1 and Severity 2) product defects reported by customers, provide an immediate product fix to the customers to mitigate the impact of the product defect on customer's business. This includes performance related fixes.
- Simulate, analyse and fix the customer reported issues or defects in the IBM Sterling Supply Chain App .
- Review and discuss new requirements in the product, raised by Sterling customers, with Sterling Product Management team in US and Sterling Customer Support team.
- Support the testing and release of hot fixes, service packs a new features.
- Analyse new requirements for feasibility of doing it in the product,
- Able to prepare a detailed design, conduct design reviews with IBM Sterling product architects and product management
- Able to develop code changes and fixes and release the new feature to the customers.
Technical Experience/Skills:
- Sterling OMS (MANDATORY)
- Java/JavaScript
- Mulesoft (not mandatory)
