SAP ABAP Developer - English Speaking.
Lisbon, Portugal.
Start: 1st October 2018.
3 Month Contract (Possible 6 Month Extension)
Our end-client based in Lisbon, Portugal requires an SAP ABAP Developer for an initial 3 month period, with a very high probability of a further 6 month extension.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have minimum 3 years ABAP experience including usage of ABAP Object Oriented Programming (ABAP OO)
- Design technical solutions and write technical specifications
- Develop in ABAP language, including usage of Object Oriented Programming
- Experience working on Interfaces with usage of BAPI's and RFC's
- Knowledge of SAP Enhancement Framework (BADI, Enhancement Spot, Switch)
- File Handling ABAP programming
- Experience working on Interfaces with usage of BAPI's and RFC's
- Troubleshooting capacity in a development point of view
- Performance oriented developer and able to analyse and solve performance issues
- Experience working in cross functional teams and multi-cultural environments
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Experience of UI5 development applications
- Develop Solutions in UI5/HTML5 Language
- Technical knowledge of XML and XSLT is a plus
- Experience in FS-CD module
- Technical knowledge of XML and XSLT and SAP UI5 knowledge
Languages:
- Must be fluent in English
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Development Team is a shared pool of resources with skills in SAP ABAP, HTML5 and Java which delivering Maintenance Services (BAU) and Projects for all SAP modules. You will join this team and help Integrate the SAP Development team and support the various SAP environments as well as support the implementation projects.
- Design and implement technical solutions and write technical specifications
- Support Local Solutions in technical terms and improve existing solutions taking in consideration best practices and performance issues
- Participates to Product Testing of delivered solution
- Follow internal delivery process and standards
- Work with autonomy in the assigned tasks
- Assist on design and sizing of SAP landscapes;
