Full-stack Developer (JavaScript/MERN Stack)
Exciting opportunity to work with an Atlanta household name and global technology leader as a Full-stack Developer working with an innovative tech stack and software platform.
This position is a hands-on development position where you will be working in an agile environment and doing greenfield development for a brand new application. In this role, you will be doing full life cycle development, including; interacting with business analysts and developers on design specifications for new application enhancements and continuous deployments. This is an agile environment with 3 week sprints, active code reviews and a very team oriented, collaborative environment. The ideal developer will have 3+ years of experience developing applications in JavaScript. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with the hottest technology including React and Node as you will be developing in the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React and NodeJS) stack and experience building applications in the cloud (AWS).
This is a 6 month contract position in Atlanta, GA with an industry leading organization. REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years Javascript Development
- Experience with modern frameworks (Angular, Node, React or similar)
- Experience with React or Node (will consider side projects on github)
- Agile/SCRUM
- Passionate about development and new technology
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Message Frameworks (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, ZeroMQ)
- Elastic Search or Solr
