AWS Engineer/API/CI CD
In line with company's ambition to move their software hosting into the public cloud and the steps they are taking to realize their application strategy to move to modern architectures & technologies available in cloud ecosystems, they are currently looking for a senior Cloud Engineer who can help them with their API journey. You will be part of a challenging environment with a lot of opportunities to drive adoption of new technologies within the company.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Deliver our Cloud Strategies, align with multiple stakeholders
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert to improve AWS Application development using cloud native services such as server less technologies and good understanding of network security standards in public cloud environments.
- Independently work on pilot use cases and proof of concepts and has a firm understanding of enterprise application development best practices in AWS or similar cloud environments.
Desired Skills:
- Writing and deployment of application on AWS utilizing tools such as: Lambda, Simple queue system, Serverless framework (CICD), DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
- AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience would be a plus
- Well versed with technologies such as S3, VMWare and GITLab.
Sound understanding of server, storage and networking in public cloud environments.
