Job: Software Engineer

Role/Area

join the AD Cash ICSD Settlement unit who deals with the delivery of enhancements to the Credit and Collateral Monitoring platform (EMC2) and Daily Depository Reconciliation (DDR)
Task/Responsibilities

Drive modern application design, including web-applications, API-driven technology architecture and micro services
participate and support the application development activities
provide technical expertise/produce technical specifications
deliver/support an automated continuous integration/delivery pipeline
ensure daily progress reporting
interact with the functional, architecture and testing teams
provide 1st line support during production rollout and post implementation phases
Qualifications/Required Skills
in-depth understanding in latest technologies and software architecture (eg Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, HTML5, Javascript Front End, RestAPI)
strong technical expertise in Java, SQL and Linux
working experience in DevOps, Test Driven Development and Cloud (AWS, Azure)
good knowledge of Javascript UI framework (React, Angular)
knowledge of Spring boot, Jboss EAP, Apache Camel, Active MQ
hands on InteliJ, Jenkins, SonarQube, HPFortify, GitHub, Ansible, Jira, JasperSoft, Docker
fast learner, solution oriented
capacity to quickly understand and enhance existing applications
ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
Additional Domain & Business Skills
business knowledge in the field of Credit, Collateral and Reconciliation is considered as an advantage
ability to work in an international environment
good command of English is required

Must have:

- A past financial industry experience!

- Linux, Java and SQL

Contract - 3 months initial (optional extension)

Daily rate - based on the candidates wants
