Job description: As a key player, Senior Developer, Linux has an overall responsibility of developing high quality products to satisfy our customer needs and continuously improving working processes, tooling and way of working.
As Senior Developer you will work on our client's Cyber Security R&D Business Unit that develops and delivers products used by our client's B2B partners and end customers. The department consists of software developers, Test Automation (TA) specialists and software architects. You will be part of a multi-site & multi-cultural team and work closely with Product Management setting high-level roadmap which then our client's R&D champions turn into product features and functionalities. The team works very closely also with a department that is analysing cyber threats on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities in this role are:
- To develop cutting edge Linux cyber security products for our client's B2B customers and utilize the latest and greatest technologies, processes and tools.
- To improve processes, way of working and common practices, such as continuous integration, test-automation and automated deployment.
- To contribute to product roadmaps and other long-time plans
What we expect from you:
- Strong C/C++ Programming skills
- Hands-on experience in Python and Shell Scripting
- Linux application development experience
- Experience in working with VmWare, Xen, HyperV or AWS
- Knowledge of networking protocols-TCP/IP, SMTP etc.
- Hands-on experience in using git, Jenkins
- Experience of working on different phases of Software Development (Design, Development and Testing)
- Linux Kernel development experience
- Good communication skills in English
- Excellent team player, self-confident and willing to work in fast changing environments.
