Description

Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Metrology Software Architect to join one of our international clients for a position in Eindhoven, Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.

The Task

Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Metrology Software Architect. Your role is to design, realize and integrate high-quality software engineering solutions, allowing fast and efficient delivery of complex metrology functions. This position is within the Software Metrology Department, which is a part of the Sector Development & Engineering.

Some of your key activities will include:

  • Breakdown complex software problems into implementable chunks
  • Establish a long-term software vision and a short-term roadmap to reach it
  • Technically) lead a team of engineers and/or sub-function architects
  • Look beyond the scope of your own software (cluster) and align on external interfaces and company-wide software concerns
  • Speak the language of the engineers as well as the language of 'functional designers', system engineering, marketing and customer support.

Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:

  • As an architect in software development in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Object-oriented design patterns, model driven engineering and design
  • Leading a team
  • C/C++, MATLAB, Python, ASD/Dezyne and Linux
  • Software Version Control (Git, SVN, Rational ClearCase)

Experience with these skills are preferred:

  • Agile way of working
  • Requirements engineering
  • Coping with Legacy software
  • Dutch language.
