Description

For a world market leading technology company (Eindhoven, the Netherlands), we're looking for a HPC Front End/portal developer who is challenged by driving Engineering Improvements. Are you able to translate these Engineering Improvements into a HCP Front End implementation and deployment that allows users to take full advantage of this powerful simulation platform?

In this job, you will develop, implement, deploy and maintain the various frontends to the simulation platform. Your focus will be on working with the internal customer to optimize the ease of use and integration of simulation tools with the underlying hardware. You will work closely together with the HPC system engineers and application support specialist to identify usability bottlenecks and will also drive the architectural evolution of the system to maximize application throughput.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Defining improvement proposals that focus on usability and stability for end-users;
  • Training simulation experts in using the provided frontends;
  • Being a strong partner in discussions with solution team system architect and other stakeholders within the internal customer departments;
  • Driving progress towards internal and external partners for implementation of improvements;

You have:

  • At least a master level or equivalent in computer science and/or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as portal developer in an engineering environment;
  • Scripting and webdevelopment experience;
  • Experience with Ansible;
  • Experience with Linux, webservers;
  • Experience with Databases, MySQL querying;
  • Experience with the Deployment in a HA linux environment;
