One of the fastest growing technology consultancies in Poland have immediate need for several Audio/Video engineers to work on an Embedded software development project with the number 1 worldwide streaming video platform and one of the world's largest media companies. We expect the results will be delivered to millions of customers worldwide. The role would suit engineers who believes in delivering quality software with quality customer service and is able to use a variety of techniques, tools and environments to do so. You would join a growing agile team alongside some very skilled people.
I am keen to speak to anyone with a strong background in:
- Embedded Linux development experience
- C++ 11 and one other Scripting language (eg python)
Of course, that is not all I am looking for and additional skills such as:
- Linux Driver development or Broadcom Chipset integration experience;
- Digital TV or set top box experience,
- OpenGL-ES experience, 2D/3D pipeline optimisation experience
- Browser experience (eg webkit);
- Experience with build systems (eg Jenkins);
- Experience with as many of these as possible: Git, Gerrit, Github, Jira; Open Embedded/Yocto; D-Bus;
- Networking protocols and standards including TCP/IP/Wi-Fi/UPnP/DLNA/HLS or MPEG-DASH would be most appealing to see.
My client is understanding of everyone's situation so remote working will be an option however you must be able to prove yourself first and understand/appreciate the culture of this exciting company.
