Job Position: Web Designer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract (6 months - with scope to extend)
Rate: hourly rates competitive (depending on experience)
A Web Designer is required by a leading global company based in Amsterdam. As a Web Designer working across the organisations online marketing and digital design teams, you will have a proven track record in website design, User interface design (UI)/user experience (UX), digital online marketing, and brand design.
The Web designer must have a good eye for detail and be able to pay particular attention to user experience and user interface design, wire-frames consistency, accessibility, usability layout, web standards (WC3), accessibility, and online marketing strategies.
Working across departments you will also be a confident communicator and personable team player with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Alongside a strong creative flair, it is highly desirable that the Web Designer possesses an excellent knowledge of the following technologies:
- HTML (preferably HTML 5), CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
- Various design applications (Photoshop, Dreamweaver Illustrator, Fireworks etc)
- A strong understanding of Front End development is highly desirable
- Knowledge of content management systems such as Sharepoint and/or Wagtail
