IT Test Engineer
My client requires an experienced IT Test Engineer to join their project.
The client has developed a multi-year business transformation strategy, Advanced Client Engagement (ACE), that focuses on aligning our clients' requirements with system enhancements designed to improve their overall experience, enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
You will be leading and coach a highly skilled agile team and work in a collaborative environment where you will have continuous learning opportunities and challenging work.
Customer is using continuous integration, cloud based solution and leading edge architecture to quickly deliver a next-generation portal for customer clients.
Work in a dynamic, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchal and ego-free culture where your talent is valued over your role title.
Stack and values
Customer has started using Lean values and Continuous Integration, and is progressing towards having Continuous Delivery pipelines in place. His/her technical team is very important for him, and he/she makes his/her best to build an environment where you can enjoy the work and shine.
He/she is always evolving technological landscape include: Java 7/8, AngularJS, Typescript, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, NPM, Maven, Jenkins 2, SonarQube, Hygeia, Zulu, IBM Bluemix, Cloud Foundry, Robot Framework.
What you will do?

Design, develop and test a large-scale, custom distributed software system using latest Java and JavaScript technologies: Spring Boot, AngularJS and Cloud Foundry.

Employ agile development practices including test and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration using Jenkins to improve overall execution speed and product quality.

Be a technology advocate and share expertise with other team members

Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle.

Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team.

Coach and help develop the team and customer technology community.
Must Haves:

An Agile mindset and team player.

Familiarity with following technologies and proven expertise in at least two of them:
-
Spring frameworks, Maven, jUnit, REST API.

Client-side rendering framework, NPM, CSS preprocessor.

Kafka as data streaming platform
-
Elastic Search as searching engine
-
Proficient experience using CI and automated testing tools

Experience leading custom-built applications development in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Experience with communicating/dealing with/to stakeholders at all levels.

Be a fast learner.

Nice to have:

Expertise in AngularJS.

Experience working in an agile environment.

Hands on experience with PaaS solution such as Bluemix.
