Are you an experienced Java developer experienced with system engineering? Do you want to work in a Front Office environment developing Trading Systems? Are you looking to secure a contract role with a Tier One Swiss Bank? If yes, then this could be the ideal Java developer contract job for you.
You will be joining a big team working on two major releases for one of the bank's vendor systems. You will be developing key components and be responsible for the integration layer as well. There will analysis of the database involved as well as some Quality assurance and system engineering aspects.
Technically, you are expected to have very good Java and Oracle skills and should also know your way around SQL, Unix and Linux Shell scripting. You should also have a QA mindset and good knowledge of system engineering. As you will be developing Trading systems, some sort of Front Office experience would be a nice to have.
