Data Engineer - Freelance/Contract - Utrecht
Montash are engaged with an innovative client situated near Utrecht, to secure a Data Engineer to join an already established Data Science/Engineering team.
The Role: Data Engineer
My client are transitioning from point-to-point data integrations and a classic data warehouse solution to a uniform data-lake, allowing all downstream ETL processes to focus only on their domain specific transformations.
Skills and experience required for this Data Engineer position:
- Software Development: Java
- Programming: Python
- Big Data: Apache Spark/Hadoop
- Hands on experience with AWS services: (API Gateway, S3, lambda functions, EMR, Redshift, ElasticSearch & DynamoDB)
- NoSQL - MongoDB/Redis
- Containerization: Docker
