- IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements
Purpose:
The Sr QA engineer is a partner of the product owner and the team, he/she has the key role to define the testing strategy, create the acceptance test and be in a position to take decision if the application is ready to go live or not.
Context is small to large development or maintenance projects (multiple function, multiple application projects with multiple interfaces and/or 3rd parties).

Primary Responsibilities:
Planning & Strategy
- Test Planning and risk analysis
- Create acceptance test and prepare test date
- Work with build engineer/test engineer to automate acceptance test
- Perform Manual Testing: exploratory testing and manual Acceptance test
- Maintain test metrics
- Domain learner
Relationships & Communication
- Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close
- Facilitates complex group meetings and conducts information gathering sessions
- Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience
- Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate
- Manages the operations with 3rd party vendors
