Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Solution Architect/Engineer to join one of our international clients for a position in Amsterdam, Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.
The Task
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Solution Architect/Engineer. In this role as a Solution Architect/Engineer you will work with a variety of talented teammates. Focus areas will be Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Callcentre applications. You will be a driving force for building digital solutions and being the lynchpin between technology, product owners and management
Some of your key activities will include:
- Coach development teams making the right architectural decisions in a landscape evolution
- Help the development teams to cut big changes in small user stories and shippable products
- Translate concepts into concrete feasible technical solutions, and know how to explain them in a way that everyone can understand
- Cooperate over several departments and sometimes different technologies following results (SMART), working with Agile development teams
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- 4+ years of experience designing Internet solutions including technical interfaces (REST services)
- Knowledge of developing customer-oriented, technically advanced Internet applications
- You take ownership of your own and your team delivery (self-steering)
- Experience in coaching and supporting developers and solution designers
- Experience with agile methods and/or scrum framework
- Strong communication skills, speaking and writing in Dutch and English
Experience with these skills are preferred:
- Experience with architecting for cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Certification in an architecture modelling language and related tooling (eg ArchiMate)
- Experience in Internet development
