Description
Software Engineer Senior with profound Java/JEE knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 8+ years' experience in Software Engineering in Life Sciences, ideally in cross functional and multi-site teams
- Excellent knowledge of Java/JEE technology stack
- Strong expertise in the design of flexible, scalable and robust software solutions
- Hands-on experience with Big Data such as Apache Spark and Hadoop as well as No-SQL database concepts
- Familiarity with Chemistry platforms and tools Biovia, Chemaxon, Dotmatics or Perkin Elmer are beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Being responsible for the design of flexible, scalable and robust software solutions
- Designing and implementing of REST API's
- Evaluating 3rd party Chemistry software solutions based on given requirements as well as integrating them into an existing application landscape
- Defining, designing and implementing integration components and scientific software solutions
