My client an award winning digital eccommerce organisation based in Cambridgeshire are looking for a UI Frontend Developer to contribute to conveying exceptional UI standards across a department of c200 business technology colleagues and across a portfolio of several regulatory and commercial delivery teams.
My client is looking for a motivated team player who can take ownership of their activities within a small, niche and in demand UI team to deliver high class solutions. The size of the team will allow you to exercise your subject matter expertise to guide and build on my clients development teams' progress. You'll support in adding, amending, maintaining key features and developing prototypes to support.
Key Technical skills:
Ability to create high quality UI solutions using core languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Demonstrable experience of using RESTful APIs, Ajax and JSON
Advanced CSS (inc. Animation)/Sass preprocessor
Understanding of CSS methodologies (eg SMACSS, ITCSS and BEM) and their role in creating modular scalable CSS architecture
Demonstrable experience of commonly used open source frameworks (eg JQuery, Bootstrap)
Demonstrable experience of NodeJS (npm ecosystem) and Gulp
JavaScript (ECMAScript) ES2015/ES2016 (Advantageous)
Production of graphical assets and optimisation techniques
