Software Development Manager - Dublin, Financial Services, Java, Contract role
You will actively lead a small scrum agile team to develop, test and deliver changes to our transaction engines, reporting tools and supporting systems. You have great fundamental engineering skills across multiple technologies and approaches. You need to be an advocate for technical change who always leaves things better than you found them. You will be responsible for leading a small team of Software Engineers for the development and delivery of quality software solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You need to have a technical background with a few of the following:
- Java 8/Spring/PHP/Mockito/Cucumber/Puppet/Chef, Docker and a Linux OS (RHEL or Debian) and RESTful web services.
- You need to lead a small agile team.
- Have a technical background in Java
- You be responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions
- Strong management experience
- Stakeholder management
