Description
System Engineer Junior - Webmail (w/m) (80-100%) with profound UNIX and LINUX knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the telecommunication sector.Your experience/skills:
- Technical apprenticeship or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience in Webmail, preferably in Bluewin
- Strong background in UNIX and troubleshooting as well as LINUX systems and web services
- Good skills in 2nd Level support
- Know-how in operating and monitoring web frontend and backend services in Internet messaging
- Experience in writing scripts with Python, Perl and Shell, combined with Network knowledge and load balancing (F5) as an advantage
- Languages: Fluent English, German is an advantage
Your tasks:
- Handling the incident, problem and change management in 3rd Level support
- Managing the operation of internet messaging platforms and their sub-serviceparts
- Performing troubleshooting
- Being able to provide on-call service to ensure services are available around the clock
- Providing Customer Support and being responsible of maintaining Customer Relations
- Securing the platform continuously and protecting it against abuse
