Next ventures is looking for someone to join this exciting project based in France for a flexible period of time. The client is looking for someone to join their team ASAP and the project is a fast moving process.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong OBIEE, ODI ETL skills
- ODI 12c 15 work flows. Also involves PL/SQL procedures for calculations and transformations. Important workflows used on daily basis and for Month production closure.
- OBI + reports, 150 dashboards. Data Sources Oracle DB and Essbase Cubes. 2500+ user base for OBIEE. 800+ Active. End users are developping their own reports (Data On Demand workshops). Activity not traced today through ticketing. Could see as mini projects supported today by BI Data team.
- OBI Admin task activities: such being able to investigate any issue for stopping and restart services accordingly. Cleaning-up any environment issue preventing application to work.
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modelling
- Oracle DB, PL/SQL. 25 schemas, 2500 tables, 1600 PL/SQL procedures for various areas (Purchases, HR, Finance, CRM etc.). Building partitions could be addressed from offshore. Development request and Request optimization to be addressed onsite. Objective is to be in maintenance mode by executing less and less development.
- Language Constraint - Must speak both French/English. Resource has to be able to synchronize with different End Users that may or not be able to communicate in English. Ressource has to be able to synchronize with TCS offshore delivery team.
Good to have:
- OBIEE System Administration
- Shell Aix (Unix) - Shell currently used to launch RUN procedures against SODEXO production. That scope will disappear after all Scheduler final implementation. That activity could be addressed by offshore team. Not mandatory to have it onsite.
- BO XI (scope exit: ) - Migration ongoing towards OBI. By end of Dec. 18 scope will be gone.
- Vba Excel: Very few applications concerned. Perimeter stable there is limited number of changes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Capture OBIIE/ODI Knowledge Transfer from Sodexo - setting up OBIEE/ODI standards documentation baseline in English: architecture, technical & business documents describing Sodexo OBIEE environments,
- Support and Maintenance activities, Development & Enhancements
- Incident tracking and resolution
- Advise/recommendations on BI roadmap
- Application design
- OBIEE, ODI application Development
- Liaison with the SMEs, Business Users
- Responsible for the BI delivery
- Coordination with business and offshore support/development team
- Status reporting
