An exciting opportunity for a Financial Market Expert is available for a freelance contract working at a major European Institution. This position is located in the historic city of Luxembourg.
A successful candidate will monitor Fixed Income markets and develop analytical tools that may serve to detect early warning signs of distress in sovereign debt markets in the euro area and beyond.
We are searching for a candidate with a following profile:
- Master level degree preferably in an economics
- 5 years of experience in financial market analysis
- 2 years of experience analysing Fixed Income markets with Bloomberg and experience with Bloomberg Excel add-in.
- Practical experience with Scripting languages such as VBA
- Solid knowledge of econometric techniques an asset
- Experience with SQL and working with databases
- CFA or relevant professional qualification
- Fluency in English (CEFR C2 level), including good drafting in that language
