Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Project Manager to join their client in Brussels.
Job Description:
- Project planning, cost estimation planning, definition of tasks
- Drafting functional and non-functional requirement reports
- Managing and coordinating the end to end development and delivery of existing and new IT webbased systems, including classified systems up to EU-Restricted level
- Evaluating tender specifications & preparing documents for IT projects
- Producing and updating technical and security reports
- Reviewing and commenting official security reports
- Liaising with users and technical teams to analyse & resolve system incidents
- Organising and coordinating the user requests through ITSM online ticketing system
- Performing regular monitoring and technical system checks throughout several environments
- Performing configuration management tasks to prepare system releases for their deployments in different environments
- Preparing and coordinating systematic data migrations
- Coordinator of the testing team to execute test cycles within expected quality standards
- Offering consultation on high-level technical issues and incoming change requests to several different DGs
- Producing training material and delivering trainings and informational sessions to users
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master Degree in IT or related matter or Bachelor Degree complemented by 5 years of professional practice in IT
- Minimum 7 years of experience in ICT (or 12 years if Bachelor)
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary capacity within IT projects like project management, functional analysis, system architecture, release and configuration management and testing coordination
- Ability to team leading, coaching and to communicate with the team and the stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of SOA / REST Architecture
- Excellent knowledge in Java (analysis, development)
- Excellent knowledge of Java Application Architecture (Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Design Patterns, Overall knowledge of Java solutions of the market)
- Excellent knowledge of the following: UML or equivalent, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, Tomcat, WebLogic, Spring Framework (Spring, Spring MVC)
- Knowledge of the following is highly desirable: HTML, XHTML, CSS, Unicode, STRUTS, Angular, PrimeNG, Bamboo, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Eventum, Jira, Confluence, Ivanti, XML, XSL, XSLT, XML Schema, XPath, LDAP, SSO, Kerberos, SAML, Jasper Reports, iReport Designer, Balsamiq Prototyping, MS SharePoint, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
- Knowledge of at least 4 of the following: Sonar, Jenkins, Git, JUnit, Selenium, Activiti, EHCache, ActiveMQ, loqback
- Sun/Oracle certification in Java Enterprise Architect is desirable
- Knowledge of Agile, RUP, UML, PRINCE 2, ITIL is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of English
