Description
Primary/Mandatory Skills:-• Overall 6-7 yrs of IT experience of which 3-4 years on Big Data Platform
• Good understanding of hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera Hadoop experience preferred).
• Hands on experience on working with HIVE, Impala, hdfs commands, oozie workflow
• Good at shell scripting.
• Hands on experience on sqoop data imports and related parameters and tuning
• Hands on experience on Flume and Kafka
• Experience on python, Spark and Scala programming.
• Good understanding of file formats like avro/parquet/JSON
• Impala architecture and query tuning will be an added advantage
• Experience in working on Agile/ DevOps model is mandatory
Role & Responsibility
• Create and maintain workflows/Dataflows in Hadoop technologies
• Participate in discussion with Designers and End User to Understand requirements
• Produce Low level design specification
• Produce and Execute Unit Test cases for respective workflows/dataflows
• Produce artefacts for Production deployment of the workflows/dataflows
• Ability to work independently to solve customer issues with little or no supervision
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to mentor and support other team members
• Excellent interpersonal communications, working in team
