Quality Engineer - Automation
Our Dublin based client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, you will be responsible to drive the continuous effort of high quality software delivery as part of an agile team.
You will have the following experience:
- 5+ years of experience and a BSc in computer science or similar field.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
- Experience of automated testing tools: Protractor, Selenium Web Driver, Webdriver.io, QTP/ALM, SoapUI, JMeter, Gatling as well as API testing tools.
- Coding skills, especially around the JS testing frameworks like Protractor or webdriver.io.
You will have the following skills:
- Understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts
- Experience in testing large scale distributed software platforms
- Good understanding of Testing Frameworks and Test Design Patterns like BDD, TDD, Page Objects etc.
- Familiar with Release, Defects and Test Management tools like: JIRA.
- Experience with source control tools like: Git, SVN, etc.
- Experience of Continuous Integration environments using tools such as: Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity etc. Knowledge of Build pipelines best practices an advantage.
- Working knowledge of testing web services
- Experience with virtual machines or containers (ie Docker) would be a plus.
- Cloud device automation on platforms like Sauce Labs or browserstack is advantageous.
- Proficient in constructing test scenarios
- Past experience or knowledge of Performance testing and security testing techniques would be a plus.
