Senior Java Developer - Brussels - Contract
Morson are working with a global consultancy who are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team in Brussels. This is a long term contract which will run for a minimum of 1 year with the chance of a number of extensions.
The Senior Java Developer will be involved in:
The conception, development and maintenance of the Institution's Information Systems:
Design and development of information systems
Review and contribute to the architecture of existing systems
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Analysis of the integration of different information systems
Data analysis and Datamodelling
The successful Java Developer will have:
Master Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 11 years of relevant IT experience OR Bachelor Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 14 years in IT
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of Java web applications
At least 5 years with both Spring and SQL
Minimum 2 years of experience with each of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Very good written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of French will be considered an asset
