Keil Business Solutions GmbH is innovative Google Reseller and IT Service Provider.We are recruiting for a
Scala (Spark) Senior Developer (f/m) for a project based in Berlin and remote.
Role/Tasks:
• Work with near-real time data processing in the Hadoop ecosystem, in particular advanced Spark/Scala programming plus experience in Kafka, Hive, HDFS
• Develop distributed, reliable, scalable data pipelines to ingest and process data, mainly in Scala
• Configure, build, install and maintain those pipelines
• Design and build large and complex data sets from external sources while keeping current and future uses of data in mind, both by end users and by other project teams
• Make software components deployable within a custom framework and restricted environment
• Work with maintenance and operations teams to assist with initial deployments and with identifying issues that occur in relation to deployed software components
• Define a test strategy, implement automated testing, perform test planning, create test scenarios and test data, participate in executing additional non-automated tests
• Document software components, define and practice best practices for big data solution design, implementation, and testing along with project experiences
• Support and work with several cross-functional teams to ensure knowledge exchange and goal alignment in a dynamic environment
• Generally participate in all Scrum-related tasks of an agile team member
Skills:
• Experience with Scala
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Kafka
• communicative, working in agile environment
• Fluent in German and English
Start Date: 01.02.2019
Duration: 5 month + option
Intensity: 4-5 day per week
Remote partial possible
Location: Berlin, Stuttgart (4 days per month)
