For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Big Data Engineer (60861)

In this role you will operate and maintain a whole platform end to end and work closely with the development teams.

Your Qualifications:

• Several years of Experience in Big Data, Data Pipelines and Data Lake Architectures
• Very experienced in planning, realization and operation of Big Data Platforms
• Advanced Knowledge of Data Integration and Data Engineering
• Strong knowledge in building automation pipelines, CI/CD using Ansible
• Experience in Hortonworks HDP, Cloudera CDH and in Data Visualization and Reporting
• Experience with IBM Power Systems of advantage, BM Watson Studio local and the integration with IBM DB2, Big SQL, HDFs, Ranger, Hive, Yarn of advantage
• Excellent skills with IBM DB2 is a plus and in implementing complex security requirements in the financial industry
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage

Your Responsibilities:

• Engineer and integrate the platform from a technology point of view
• Engineer core Big Data platform capabilities
