Java Developer - Application Framework wanted for our Zurich based client in the insurance sector.Your experience/skills:
- Practical experience as a JAVA developer in compliance with expertise in event-driven architecture and micro-services
- Work experience in test driven development as well as proven expertise in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests along with knowledge about CI/CD for integration and deployment
- Strong understanding of Java Spring, Junit, OOD and usage of SQL
- Know-how of networks and other public cloud-related infrastructure topics
- Solid expertise with security, encryption, authentication and with "Infrastructure as Code" along with knowledge in Linux OS, Unix, Databases, AzureDevOps and MS Azure Portal
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Designing PoC as well as providing samples and maintaining an application framework using micro-services and Spring
- Engineering highly performant Design Patterns and closing liaise with the Kafka-workstream Lead engineer
- Cooperating with the product teams' engineers for best implementation and designing of new type of application requirements
- Introducing and establishing Best Practises, guidinging principles and sample code
- Training other engineers in using the framework as well as ensuring compliance with CI/CD and automated testing in compliance with building pipelines
- Defining standards for unit and integration tests following the DevOps approach such as improving all deployed applications from an operational perspective
