On behalf of our client, an international finance institute located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
Java Software Developer (f/m/x) IFS Investment Fund Services - IT - financial area Luxembourg - P602
Field of activity
Investment Funds Service IT Section builds and maintains several applications to provide our Client customers, performing and efficient tools to manage Investment Funds Order Routing and Transfer,
Custody or Settlement activities over multiple type of media including SWIFT 15022, 20022, Front End, Fax, etc.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Technical System Design, Development Implementation, Unit Testing
- Technical documentation
- Provide support for Business Analysts IT queries
- Working as part of an application development unit reporting to a Development team
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree or equivalent (Level 8) in a computer based discipline.
- The candidate must have industrial experience or some knowledge with the below:
-Java technologies (EJB, JMS, MDB, JaxB, JPA, JSF, JSP)
-JavaEE Application Servers (ideally Redhat EAP Jboss or Oracle Weblogic)
-Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL
-Working with Linux environment. Basic knowledge of ksh or bash.
-Writing technical documentation in English
-Analytical skills using UML.
-Continuous Integration tools (ideally Maven, Jenkins, Selenium)
- English speaking (not necessarily fluent) - knowledge of French will ease the communication
- Must be a team player with good communications skills and must be a self-starter with minimum support.
The role would require to you work on development, support & maintenance activities and must be flexible when required.
This is a contract position.
Assignment:
Fulltime (100%)
Start: June 2019
Duration: 3 months (extension planned until year end)
