We are looking for Java Developer (m/f/x) for our client in Prague, Czech RepublicJava Developer (m/f/x)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Develop Java services for the new Risk Engine (mainly green-field)
• Develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the PRISMA RDS software
• Coordinate with business analysts and other teams on implementing new features
• Coordinate with technical maintenance team during user acceptance tests
• Manage your own project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Required Skills:
• Advanced programming in Java
• Background in building distributed applications on Linux or in a cloud native stack
• SQL Database Experience
• Knowledge in Linux
• An appreciation of the challenges of building, running and maintaining a minimum downtime production system
• Interest and ability to learn, fit in collaborative working style
• Excellent communication and prsentation skills in English.
Skills Nice to have:
• Experience with messaging (AMQP or similar)
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience with developing cloud native and 12factor applications
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenShift
• Experience with GitHub and/or CircleCI
• Experience with bash or python scripting
• An interest or background in financial markets and risk management
