Freelance DevOps Engineer

Location: Munich
Duration: Until end of 2019
Remote working: 1 day per week

DevOps Engineers. You would be working alongside an agile driven team as they look to deliver the project to the global group.

Skills needed in infrastructure:

- Ansible in production environment on daily basis.
- Debian based Linux in production environment on daily basis.
- Docker in production environment on daily basis.
- Monitoring systems in production environment on daily basis.
- Elastic stack in production environment.
- Hashicorp stack ( any of tools - Nomad, Consul and Vault) in production environment on daily basis.
- CI/CD tools in production environment.
- Any scripting language, preferable Python and Bash.
- Willingness to work with private cloud, in the next 2 years they will not move to any public cloud.

Experience in debugging and troubleshooting in production environment with any of technologies described above.

Solution engineering skills:

- Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system, ideally Ubuntu, and networking/infrastructure
- Good experience with container runtime platforms (docker) incl. writing own Dockerfiles
- Advanced know-how in config management, ideally Ansible
- Production experience with some of the following (at least one, more is better)
o Spark, SparkSQL
o Python, Anaconda, Jupyter
o Zeppelin, R-Studio
o Kafka
