Description
Main tasks / responsibilities:• Self-employed and self-responsible activities within incidents, problems and change management
• Participation in the call readiness
• Specialist activities in the administrative and technical area as well as coordination of platform- or service-related projects
• Testing and interference suppression of non-standardized hardware and software components due to own fault diagnoses as well as commissioning and functional testing of network components
• Analysis, conception and coordination of processes in the technical field
Requirements:
• Study of computer science or communications engineering or comparable training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the telecommunications / IT environment
• Detailed knowledge in the operation of Unix environments
• Detailed knowledge in the operation of OpenStack environments (from Mitaka release)
• Detailed knowledge of SDN / CloudStorage (scaleI / O, VNX) and Cloud Backup (Comvault)
• Detailed knowledge of network / firewall / load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Pluribus, A10, F5)
• Detailed knowledge of databases (ElasticSearch, mySQL, Cassandra)
• Familiar with DevOps operations and workflows
• Knowledge of FM / PM and other OSS tools such as Logstash, Kibana, Zenoss, Netcool, etc. is an advantage
• Knowledge of mobile and fixed line services is an advantage
