My client is an international, market leading software company based just outside Essen that specializes in the delivery of customized software within the Avionics industry worldwide. Their innovative software has allowed them to drive to the forefront of the market place and they are now globally recognized as a company that does not compromise on code quality. To further back up their innovative software development, they have gained multiple awards for their software and business.Due to recently securing a number of large contracts they currently require a Senior C++ Developer to come on board for a 12 month contract. Within this role you will play a pivotal role in helping assist in the development of new product features along with the wider team. You will bring a very high level of C/C++ experience in an embedded environment and as well as that, an eagerness to undertake a long term project from its infancy.
The first 2-3 months of this project will be based onsite, after this there will be the option to work remotely one day a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist your colleagues in the development teams in the development of new features for their products and projects
- Work all aspects of the software development life cycle including timelines, scope and definition
- Proactively ensure the highest level of code quality
Required Skills
- Degree in a relevant subject matter such as Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong understanding of C/C++ programming languages
- Ideal knowledge of C++ 11/14
- Experience working in an embedded development environment is desirable
- Meticulous in your approach, you can ensure the highest level of quality
- Very high passion for development
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team or individually
- Strong English language skills
