Backend Developer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the IT sector.Your experience/skills:
- Background as a Backend Developer with strong know-how of Python, Java, PySpark, Spark and SQL
- Practical knowledge and experience with Elasticsearch and Unix
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies as well as Rest APIs
- Working experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Being responsible for the daily batch run implementation
- Implementing pipeline code such as alerts
- Conducting Data ingestion and generating derived data feeds
- Managing Pipeline refactoring, optimisation and logging
- Fulfilling Unit and regression testing
- Documenting design, functionalities and tests
