Description
Based just north of Dortmund, my client develops cutting-edge Automotive Connectivity platforms for Tier 1 and Automotive OEM partners. Having been established 10 years ago, they have positioned themselves as the leading developer for Multimedia and Infotainment platforms in the market.Due to strategic growth, and an increase in projects, they are now searching for a C/C++ Developer to work on the development of User Interfaces of their award-winning Infotainment Systems. You will collaborate closely with Middleware engineers with the goal to improve the car's user experience. Your knowledge of C/C+, communication protocols and GUI development round off your profile.
Initially this will be a 6 month contract with the possibility of extention to 12 months based on project timescales, 100% onsite with an hourly rate between €65 - €95.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Middleware Engineers to create seamless user interfaces to provide the best in-car multimedia experience
- Design, develop and implement scalable GUI on to of existing middleware
- Prototyping of in-vehicle user experiences
- Ensure a high level of software quality
- Maintains a full overview of the project life cycle, including timelines, scope and definition
- Clean documentation for all projects throughout each stage using tools such as JIRA
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of C/C++ programming languages
- Good experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi
- You have worked on developing GUIs
- Ideal experience with diverse UI frameworks such as Qt, Unity
- Meticulous in your approach, you can ensure the highest level of quality
- Very high passion for development
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team or individually
- English language skills
