Job Description: A position of RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAIN / SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER
Tasks and responsibilities: Provide an internal and external interface to guarantee the shipping of orders by the supplier according to the level of criticality.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure that potentially backlogged materials and services arrive on time and in accordance with quality standards to meet production schedule objectives.
• Attend the daily production meeting to report on the state of the supply chain.
• Inform affected people and departments of any delivery discrepancies that affect planned manufacturing orders.
• Publish monthly statistics in Sourcing and Supply Chain on supplier performance in a timely manner, as well as progress on root cause and corrective action.
• Coordinate directly with external suppliers to expedite the processing of aircraft components as required by the supplier's purchase order.
• Communicate late orders to the supplier
• Read delivery schedules and inventory reports to determine parts priority.
• Provide shipping and delivery information to all necessary working groups
• Work with internal departments and suppliers to correct shipping, billing, quality, and differences in part numbers and quantities.
Required Skills
• Production Engineer
• Languages mastered: French and English
• Minimum 5 years of experience in: In titanium hot forming, Welding, Capable of both identification problems and implementation of actions / Six Sigma
