Java Architect

Role :: Java Architect
Location - Bochum, Germany
Duration: 6 Months Contract (May get Extended)

Job description:

• Understand the High Level and Component Architecture within the JAVA container/partition
• Do error triaging in a system context. Find potential root causes in a multi-ECU environment
• Support and guide the development team in defect fixing, especially for cross-ECU or cross-partition defects
• Create SW Component requirements and manage the creation of related SW architecture
• Good understanding of object oriented code concepts (preferably in JAVA)
• Maintain the SW components derived from the HLD
• Guide development team to achieve a complete functionality of the component
• Collaborate with Multi-Site and Multi-Location teams
• Flexible and open for travel (Wolfsburg occasionally).

Demonstrated Experience

• Several Years of experience as SW Design and development.
• Strong experience in designing for JAVA based architecture .
• Experience in automotive SW development or architecture.
• Understanding of network protocols like MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP, SOCKS .
• Familiar with automotive specific architecture and protocols like CAN, Ethernet .
• Good exposure to Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody and experience with either UML or SysML.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Good team player and open for new challenges
