Description
Currently we´re searching, for one of our top clients in Vienna, for a talented Java Test Engineer (m/f/d). It is a freelance project, starting April and offers a runtime of 12 months, with option for continuation. Work allocation is five days on site, with a later option of one day remote office. Project is in English, German is nice-to-have. The client works in the insurance sector.Your responsibilities:
- enhance existing automated regression portfolios with new TestNG/Selenium test cases
- create test specifications based on the functional design specification of new features
- create reusable test modules that can be reused by different teams
- support in design and testing phases within the focus teams
- create documentation based on the defined testing guidelines
Your Qualifications:
- at least 1-2 years testing experience: planning/designing/implementing test activities, defect analysis and management, UI and API testing
- experience in Java SE (Generics, Thread, JDBC, Collections framework, implementing Java GUI applications)
- experience in OOP concepts: encapsulation, inheritance vs. delegation, access operators, GoF
- experience with SQL
- experience with Eclipse as IDE
- experience with version management tools like SVN, clearcase, CVS
- Agile Methologies
- open minded, communicative, motivated and self-dependent
- English mandatory, German only nice-to-have
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on your qualifications.
