Energy storage: Embedded software developer (m / f / d)

My clinets are right now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for battery management system (BMS) development to join their team. You will be given the opportunity to develop High Performance li-ion battery systems and redox flow battery.

I am searching for a software developer with experience in battery management systems. You have experience of working close to the hardware & prototypes of li-ion batteries or redox flow battery and have great knowledge of Embedded systems, preferably from the automotive industry.
Your tasks:
  • Independent design, planning and implementation of software and system development projects for battery management systems from the idea to series production
  • Implement and define safety-related functions and extensive communication interfaces to control systems
  • Carrying out commissioning and tests
  • Creation of specifications
  • Adapting the existing software architecture (Siemens PLC) to new requirements and integrating new modules


Your qualification:
  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, technical informatics or a comparable subject
  • First professional experience in the development of electronic systems
  • Knowledge and experience in programming with C / C ++ for microcontrollers
  • Experience in dealing with common communication protocols and complex software stacks as well as their commissioning and implementation
