RF System Expert; Beyond 5G Research - April Start- 750 SEK p/h - 12 Months - Gothenburg - English SpeakingMy client is working in the field of 5G research and are looking to on board an expert Antenna Engineer, ideally from a BTS background to assist in driving the project forwards as effectively as possible. Essentially your role will focus on researching 5G RF architectures and key enabling technologies with the end goal of realising innovative antenna solutions for current and future wireless networks.
The project is due to run for 12 months, however the client have a track record of offering extensions assuming both parties are happy.
Requirements:
- Advanced MS or PhD in Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering, Electronic Engineering
- Strong background in wireless communications, radio systems, RF engineering
- Deep knowledge about multi-antenna systems.
- Good understanding of PHY layer 1 algorithms, such as precoding, decoding and scheduling algorithms.
- Good understanding of antenna systems, channel models, wireless propagation, RF material technology (such as metamaterials)
- Experience in Matlab, Python, C, C++ programming languages.
