Description
We are seeking a Java Software Developer to join an FX FinTech spin-off and build out their high-performance, low latency trading system.The Java Software Developer will get exposure to a platform that consumes 5 billion messages per day.
The contract will start with remote work and then move to a mix of onsite and remote work.
The initial contract will be for 3 months and I am able to offer an all-in rate of €80 per hour.
We are offering the Java Software Developer:
- Hands-on multi-threaded development, on a highly available platform, using Java, with some exposure to other languages including Python and C#
- Infrastructure work with Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud based Microservices
As the Java Software Developer, you'll lead by example with clean code practices, such as pair programming, TDD and CI.
The Java Software Developer will assist with architectural design and implementation across multiple business areas including real-time price feeds, database design and big data handling.
